Light colored Hagi sake cup in the shape of a chawan (tea bowl). The cup has a good feel and weight in the hand. Along the sides are small areas of exposed clay, tell tale marks of the tongs which the potter used to removed the cup from the firing. The cup has a positive air about it, with refreshing hues spanding from cream to light pink.

The cup is accompanied by its original, Cedar box (Kiribako), for safe storage, signed by the potter. This box is particularly nice, it gives the impression of a prized heirloom object.
